Dear Fellow Bangladeshi American Professionals: From the very first day of our working lives, we have been taught the importance of networking. We build these relationships with our colleagues and clients at work and with friends and family in our personal lives. These networks are vital to our success and happiness in all spheres of day-to-day life. However, because of our unique standing as professionals that span two distinct cultures, Bangladeshi and American, we need an organization that addresses our concerns and interests. To meet this challenge, a few of your peers in the Tri-State Area (NY/NJ/Conn) have formed NYBAP, the Network of Young Bangladeshi American Professionals. We currently have chapters in New York, Atlanta and Toronto. and are expanding throughout the United States and internationally.. NYBAP is an organization targeted at young professionals at the beginning and middle stages of their careers. We do not intend to replace or compete with other Bengali professional organizations but instead we would like to work with these organizations to provide meaningful professional and social opportunities and knowledge transfer throughout the Bangladeshi American community. Our founders saw a need for a network drawing together young professionals from all walks of life to share their knowledge and experience. They also recognized that many young Bangladeshi-American professionals are seeking to meet others in a social environment with similar interests and aspirations. We hope you'll join the Network!
